FFK reacts to Oby Ezekwesili pulling out of presidential race

Image
Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, FFK, has reacted to Oby Ezekwesili pulling out of the 2019 presidential race.

Ezekwesili pulled out of the presidential race earlier today stating that she is joining a coalition of other candidates.

Since making the announcement, her party, the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria, ACPN, has thrown its weight behind President Muhammadu Buhari who is seeking re-election.

Reacting to the withdrawal announcement by Ezekwesili, FFK wrote on Facebook:

"Oby Ezekwesile has finally opted out of a presidential race in which she had little chance of winning even one per cent of the votes.

It would have been easier for a pregnant Somalian chimpanzee or a four-eyed Zambian frog to be invited to Buckingham Palace for lunch with the Queen than for this so-called "presidential aspirant" to win one polling booth, let alone one ward or one Local Govermment Area, in the race.

The fact that Oby's running mate, one Galadima, and her politica…

Atiku speaks on how he would treat non-muslims in northern Nigeria

Image
The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, has stated how he would treat non-muslims in the northern part of the country if elected president come February.
Atiku made this know in a question and answer session on Twitter where he also spoke on measures he will take to ensure the unity of the country.

Atiku said: “In conflict areas, we will ensure interfaith/community-based conflict resolution groups are strengthened, just like we did in Adamawa through the Adamawa Peace Initiative.

“Every Nigerian should feel at home wherever they are and part of my recommendations to the CONFAB was to focus more on state of residence, rather than origin. Let our states attract the best people.

“Young Nigerians aren’t just leaving Nigeria because of bad pay and working conditions, they are leaving because there is no hope.”

Image
A young pastor based in Zimbabwe, Prophet Wonderful Moyo, has been accused of sleeping with his Church members.

The ugly news broke out when Prophet Wonderful Moyo dumped the church members he'd allegedly been sleeping with to marry an outsider.

It became worse as sources claim he has been using the Church members to fund the payment of the bride price required to marry the new lady.

“Our prophet fooled himself by thinking that his calling was going to be effective by marrying,” said the source.

“He forced another woman who was leading her own ministry to join him and promised to marry her so as to be effective but this failed to bear fruits.

“Prophet Moyo widened his own eyes and proposed to another woman and it became the talk of church and smeared his preaching and this forced him to dump the two.

“Church is not an organisation but an organism so Prophet Moyo took church for granted and started forcing leaders to collect money to help him pay bride price and this is what force…

Image
Apex Igbo socio-cultural group, Ohanaeze Ndigbo has pointed out the qualities Igbos should look for in determining who to vote for in February's presidential election.

The Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the organisation, Chuks Ibegbu said Ohanaeze will vote for any candidate who believes in restructuring. He said Nigeria needs restructuring because the current set up doesn't favour the Igbos

According to Ibegbu: “We have always emphasized on the restructuring of Nigeria that the country as it’s presently constituted cannot work. We need to restructure the country, physical, structural and political restructuring. It’s only these that will open up the dormant energy in the country. “The Igbo, in particular, perform well when there is a level playing ground, as it is now our energies are bottled up they can’t perform because the country is against them. "So our position is that whoever will restructure Nigeria, open up the latent and hidden capacities of Nigeria t…
